Sea View Wedding Venue in Bournemouth

We recently got married at the wonderful Miramar hotel. Brain, the Wedding and Events Manager for the Miramar was fantastic. Very professional with a friendly personality made us feel at ease as he guided us through what we needed to do ensuring that every aspect was covered.
 
The venue itself is gorgeous with its elegant building and great location. We were lucky to have chosen a really warm, sunny and calm day enabling us to have our wedding ceremony outside in the beautifully landscaped gardens with their fantastic views over the sea. Our reception room, with the help of Tiger Lily Occasions, was beautifully laid out and decorated. The food and wine was superb and we were deeply impressed with the hotel staff. The Miramar Hotel was the perfect place for our wedding.

We can not recommend The Hotel Miramar enough. You can have the most beautiful, atmospheric, and iconic looking and feeling hotels in stunning settings in many places around the world. This hotel, in our opinion, sits squarely in that category. The grounds are immaculate with stunning views across Bournemouth Bay to Old Harry Rocks and the Purbecks to the west and the Isle of Wight and the Solent in the east. What makes Hotel Miramar stand out, though, is the staff that run it. And that includes all of them - both front of house and behind the scenes. For our occasion, a special mention must go to Brian who saw our wedding through from early planning stages to the event itself running like clockwork! Thank-you Brian and all of your colleagues.

Definitely highly recommend Hotel Miramar!! We had our wedding here and we couldn’t of asked for a better place to get married. The whole day just seemed like a dream, even though it was an emotional day Brian and the Miramar staff always kept us at ease. The service we got was second to none and we couldn’t of asked for a better day. Hotel Miramar has got to be one of the best hotels in Bournemouth with a stunning sea view. We even went back on our honeymoon week to have cream tea and the food was amazing, we will definitely coming back on a regular basis.

I had my wedding here - the ceremony the wedding breakfast and evening reception. What amazing food and a lot of it ! The venue was amazing nothing was too much trouble and the staff were so polite. Brian Robbins was fantastic and helped us with our planning. I can’t recommend highly enough. The venue was perfect for the wedding and the sun shone. So delighted we chose here.

If you are planning a wedding, I cannot recommend this venue enough.
From the support and organisation of the management (specifically Brian) to the warm and friendly reception you get from all staff always checking everything is okay. We felt like we were at home and that they really cared about our experience.
We had a lot of parts to our wedding and nearly a hundred guests and yet we were slickly moved through each days events without really knowing it was happening.

We held our wedding at The Hotel Miramar in June 2024 and wow what a venue! The setting is absolutely stunning! We were lucky with the weather considering how temperamental it’s been so far this year ☀️ and felt blessed to have the whole ceremony outside with a stunning sea view backdrop!

Brian and his team and excellent and super attentive! Extra shout out also to Jasmine who notice I didn’t have a glass of Prosecco in my hand before I had!

My daughter got married here a couple of weeks ago. Brian was absolutely amazing. The wedding was perfect and I can not fault anything. The venue is the perfect place to get married. Food was amazing and lots of it. All staff made the perfect day. Can't thank the Miramar enough for making the day perfect. I would highly recommend this to all future couples for a venue for their wedding. Best day of my life.
