Have fun on the pier

A visit to Bournemouth would not be complete without a trip to the iconic Victorian Pier, so make sure you add it to your list of things to do in Bournemouth immediately. It’s more than just arcades and sticks of rock (although you will find amusements and sweet treats galore too). Try out the pier-to-shore zip line or the high-line obstacle course, catch some live music or enjoy a cocktail or two with a view.

Hit the beach

Our seven-mile stretch of golden sands has been ranked amongst Europe’s top beaches. Come rain or shine, there’s nothing better than breathing in the fresh sea air and soaking up the breathtaking view. Take a walk along the sandy shore, brave a dip or simply sit back and relax with a coffee or an ice cream.

Paddleboarding on sea

Get on the water

See the town from a different perspective, with a trip on the water. Take a boat trip, hire a kayak or book a SUP session for a closer look at the impressive Jurassic coastline, one of the more unique things to do in Bournemouth and a great day out.
