General Booking T&Cs

All bookings are subject to the following conditions:

Accommodation

  1. A booking will not constitute a legal contract until any deposit requested by the hotel has been paid, and the booking is
    confirmed with a receipt by the hotel. Thus, unconfirmed bookings are not guaranteed.
  2. All deposits are non – refundable and are charged at 20% of the total booking.
  3. In the event of a cancellation within 3 days prior to arrival or no show, the confirmed price of the booking will be charged. Full payment will be taken 3 days prior to arrival from the card provided at the time of booking.
  4. On check -in we will require the same credit or debit card used to pay for the booking either in part or full in order that we can take a chip and pin security swipe. If the original card is not presented on arrival , the payment will be refunded to the original card and an alternative card will be required with a chip and pin transaction made before check in is permitted.
  5. All prices are subject to change without notice up to 90 days prior to the arrival date unless previously confirmed in
    writing.
  6. In the case of Government changes in taxation, no notice need be given, even if the booking is confirmed in writing.
  7. Payments on account must be made within 14 days of presentation of the account.
  8. The hotel will not be held liable for any emergency repairs or unplanned remedial building works taking place during your
    stay.
  9. The hotel does not accept any liability for the cancellation or delay of any booking, or failure to provide any agreed
    services caused by circumstances beyond our control. This includes, but is not limited to:
    -industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural disaster, fire, fire evacuation or alarm, decrees of Government,
    disruption to utility services. The foregoing shall not give rise to any claim for compensation or damages.

Conference and Banqueting

  1. A booking will not constitute a legal contract until any deposit requested by the hotel has been paid, and the booking is
    confirmed with a receipt by the hotel. Thus, unconfirmed bookings are not guaranteed.
  2. On any reduction in the original number booked for a function the hotel reserves the right to relocate the function to suit
    the final numbers confirmed.
  3. Cancellations must be made to the hotel in the first instance by telephone and then in writing. Deposits are nonrefundable, the amount of which will cover any administration costs incurred.
  4. On the cancellation of the whole or any part of the confirmed booking within 3 months of the event the hotel reserves
    the right to charge 100% of final estimated costs as cancellation charge. We strongly advise that you consider an
    appropriate event insurance.
  5. The credit or debit card provided during booking will be charged with the agreed deposit amount and is required as a
    guarantee for us to hold your booking and we will be authorised to make a charge to the credit/debit card provided
    under the conditions (4) listed above. We also reserve the right to deduct the cost of any damages to hotel property
    from this card.

  7. Menu choices and final numbers of guests must be given no later than 14 days prior to the function and in writing.
  8. The guaranteed number of guests and the seating plan, if applicable, must be notified a minimum of 14 days prior to the
    function. This confirmed number will be the minimum charged.
  9. The hotel cannot be held responsible for the quality of the food if not served at the scheduled time, due to the late arrival of
    guests.
  10. A charge may be made for any additional labour costs incurred resulting from the late commencement or conclusion of
    any function.
  11. Payment must be made within 14 days prior to the function.
  12. Please ensure that the parents of children attending your function are informed of the following:
    To ensure compliance with our health and safety policy and for the comfort of other guests, children attending any
    function must be under adult supervision at all times.
  13. The hotel will not be held liable for any emergency repairs or unplanned remedial building works taking place during your
    stay.
  14. The hotel does not accept any liability for the cancellation or delay of any event, or failure to provide any agreed services
    caused by circumstances beyond our control. This includes, but is not limited to:
    -industrial dispute, terrorist activity, natural disaster, fire, fire evacuation or alarm, decrees of Government,
    disruption to utility services. The foregoing shall not give rise to any claim for compensation or damages.
  15. The organiser of each party will be held responsible to ensure that all guests in their group behave in an orderly manner.
    Damage to hotel property will be assessed with the cost passed to the organiser.
